On this page

This notice explains how personal data is processed when you use Brantial Atlas (“Atlas”) and sets out terms specific to Atlas. Brantial’s general [Privacy Policy](https://brantial.ai/privacy-policy/) and [Terms of Service](https://brantial.ai/terms-of-service/) also apply to Atlas; this page adds what is particular to it. Depending on where you are, the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or Turkey’s KVKK (Law No. 6698) may apply.

## 1. Controller

**WEBTURES LTD.** (Company number 11948574)
494a Fulham Road, London, England, SW6 5NH
Email: [hello@brantial.ai](mailto:hello@brantial.ai)

## 2. Personal Data We Process

- **Account data:** the e-mail address you sign in with, your language, plan, credit balance and credit history.
- **Session data:** a sign-in cookie (`atlas_session`) in the browser you use. It only keeps you signed in; it is not used for advertising or tracking.
- **Report data:** the domain, market and language you analyse, competitors you name, your choices, and the links of reports saved to your account.
- **Payment data:** payments are taken by Stripe. Your card details never reach Atlas; we keep only the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan status and billing period.
- **Security data:** your IP address is used briefly for rate limits against abuse. Logs keep a salted hash that changes daily, not the address.
- **Public web data:** Atlas reads public pages that mention competitors and those publications’ contact pages, which may include contact details publishers have made public (such as an editor’s e-mail address).

---

## 3. Purposes and Legal Bases

| Purpose | Legal basis |
| --- | --- |
| Creating your account, signing you in, listing your reports | Performance of a contract |
| Managing credits and plans, processing payments | Performance of a contract; legal (tax and accounting) obligations |
| Keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and spam | Legitimate interests |
| Reviewing public publications and contact pages for competitor analysis and outreach routes | Legitimate interests; data made public by the person concerned |
| Service messages (sign-in links, payment status) | Performance of a contract |

We do not use your data for anything other than providing Atlas, and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.

---

## 4. Recipients and Transfers

Data is shared with the following providers only as far as each service requires. Some are outside the UK, EEA or Turkey; transfers rely on the safeguards the applicable law requires.

- **Cloudflare:** hosting, database and security infrastructure.
- **Stripe:** payments and subscriptions.
- **Resend:** delivery of sign-in e-mails.
- **AI and search providers** (Anthropic, OpenRouter, Google, Perplexity, Serper): domains, competitor names and public page content from reports are sent for analysis. Your account e-mail is not sent to them.

Data may also be disclosed to competent authorities where the law requires it.

---

## 5. Retention

- **Sign-in links:** valid for 15 minutes, then deleted.
- **Sessions:** 30 days; deleted when you sign out or when they expire.
- **Reports:** a report link is valid for 30 days and extends when opened (up to 90 days). A report and its data are deleted 30 days after its link expires. Raw copies of pages read are kept for 7 days, their text for 14 days.
- **Account and credit data:** while your account is open; deleted at once when you delete your account.
- **Payment records:** kept by Stripe for the periods tax and accounting law require.

---

## 6. Your Rights and Deleting Your Account

You may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a data-protection authority (in the UK, the [ICO](https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/)).

- **Delete your account yourself:** **“Delete my account”** in the Atlas account menu removes your e-mail, sessions, list of reports and credit history. Cancel an active subscription first in **“Manage subscription”**.
- **Delete a report:** holding its link is enough.
- **Other requests:** write to [hello@brantial.ai](mailto:hello@brantial.ai).

---

## 7. Atlas Terms of Use

- **What Atlas is:** a research tool that helps you find your competitors, see where they are mentioned, weigh those sources and prepare outreach drafts.
- **Free allowance:** each report includes one competitor analysis and one source message for free. Further actions use credits.
- **Prohibited uses:** you may not use Atlas for bulk scraping, spam, harassment, misleading or unlawful content, or to collect or pass on publishers’ contact details for purposes other than this service.
- **Limits and enforcement:** rate limits apply to prevent abuse. Accounts that breach these terms may be restricted or closed after notice.

---

## 8. Credits, Plans and Payment

- **Credit prices:** an extra competitor analysis costs 5 credits, searching a good list again 3, an extra message 1. New accounts start with 10 credits.
- **Refunds:** credits spent on an analysis that comes back empty, or on a message with no way to reach the source, are refunded automatically.
- **Plans:** Starter adds 150 credits a month, Growth 600. Yearly billing adds a year’s credits at once. Credit packs are one-off purchases.
- **Validity:** credits remain valid while your account is open and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- **Cancellation:** you can cancel a subscription at any time in **“Manage subscription”**; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Partial periods are not refunded unless the law requires it.
- **Payment:** payments are taken by Stripe; card details are not stored by Atlas.

---

## 9. Atlas Outputs and Outreach Drafts

- **Accuracy:** competitor lists, source scores and message drafts are produced by automated analysis and AI. They may be wrong or incomplete; check them before relying on them.
- **Sending is yours:** Atlas never sends a message or submits a form on your behalf. Whether, what and how you send is your decision.
- **Compliance:** you are responsible for following the rules on commercial electronic messages where you and the recipient are, each publication’s own rules, and the duty to label sponsored content as advertising.
- **No guarantee of results:** no placement, ranking or appearance in AI answers is guaranteed.

---
